The 20th annual Rochester Polar Plunge for Special Olympics is taking place this afternoon in the cold, but not ice-covered, water of Foster Arend Pond.

This year's event was postponed due to the COVID pandemic and the number of plungers is limited to maintain social distancing and other mitigation measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
