Rochester Police Identify Woman Who was Run Over by Truck
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester Police Dept. has released the name of the woman who was critically injured early Monday after being run over by a pickup truck.
Police reports indicate 39-year-old Emily Jacobsen suffered serious head and upper body injuries. She was run over and dragged an unknown distance while in an alley near her home just west of the North Broadway McDonald’s restaurant.
The truck was driven by 40-year-old Dewain Siewert, identified as her boyfriend. He told police the two were looking for their cat. Jacobsen was apparently on her hands and knees looking under a boat when she was run over.
Police Capt. John Sherwin says Siewert was not arrested and is not in custody. A blood sample is being tested for any signs of drugs or alcohol.
