Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - For a third consecutive night, crews from the Rochester Public Works Department will be busy overnight removing the big piles of snow from Sunday's blizzard out of the downtown business district. After midnight, vehicles left on streets where no parking notices have been posted will be ticketed and towed. City officials say they are hoping to complete the process tomorrow night.

The process of widening residential streets narrowed by the deep snow is scheduled to begin on Thursday and continue into next month. The impacted streets will be posted with “NO PARKING” signs at least 12 hours before the plowing begins and the signs will be removed once the snow clearing operation on that street is completed. City officials stress the NO PARKING signs supersede all other posted parking regulations and any vehicles left parked on the affected streets will be ticketed and towed away.
