Rural Olmsted County Man Admits To Child Sex Abuse Case

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A rural Olmsted County man has pleaded guilty in a child sex abuse case.
Deputies arrested 55-year-old Timothy Griffin in December 2020 after a 20-year-old woman told investigators about years of sexual abuse that took place at his Rock Dell area home.
According to the criminal complaint, the abuse took place between 2005 and 2018 beginning when the girl was 6 years old.
Griffin was charged with six felony counts of criminal sexual conduct. During a court appearance Monday, he pleaded guilty to one of the counts as part of a plea agreement and the others will be dismissed.

Griffin is scheduled to be sentenced on May 26th.
