Scotty McCreery is still getting used to his new role as a married man, and he admits there is one thing that is already driving his new wife, Gabi, crazy.

"She doesn’t love when I leave my clothes on the floor like I’ve done my whole life," McCreery tells Taste of Country, laughing. "We are kind of figuring out each other’s quirks."

It's these little discoveries that all new couples tend to grapple with as they get used to living together — and one that Scotty and Gabi will need to compromise on as they settle in to their North Carolina home. But there's another bachelor habit that McCreery might not need to break anytime soon, if he leaves it up to Gabi.

"Honestly, she tells me to go play (golf)," McCreery shares. He says golf game has been suffering as of late, since he spent much of the year focused on wedding planning and wedding festivities. The longtime boyfriend/girlfriend got married on June 16 in front of 200 family and friends.

"I’ll say, ‘I’m only here for a day, we should hang out and do things together,'" he adds.

McCreery will get back out on the road soon as he embarks on his Seasons Change Tour with special guests Jimmie Allen and Heather Morgan. The tour will kick off at the House of Blues in Dallas on Nov. 29, 2018.

"Even though I’m always performing on the road, I really wanted to put together a specific tour surrounding Seasons Change because it is my favorite and most personal project yet," McCreery says.

The couple have already felt heat from family members to have baby McCreerys, but that will have to wait — they're getting a dog in January, after his tour wraps.
