For many of us, our families don't live in the same state as we do. This makes Christmas shopping super hard. If you order online you can always just have it shipped to the person, but then it's not wrapped. If you are planning on shipping a lot of gifts out this holiday season, the deadline is approaching quickly to get gifts to their final destination on time. Here is a list of some of the deadlines according to ShipStation.  All of these deadlines are for gifts being shipped in the United States.

United States Postal Service

  • Retail Ground: December 14th
  • First Class: December 20th
  • Priority Mail: December 21st
  • Priority Mail Express: December 23rd

Fedex

  • Fedex Ground: December 16th
  • Home Delivery: December 16th
  • Express Saver: December 19th
  • 2 Day Services: December 20th
  • Overnight Services: December 23rd

UPS

  • Ground: December 13th
  • 3 Day Select: December 19th
  • 2 Day Air Services: December 20th
  • Next Day Air Services: December 23rd

We have had some crazy weather in the past few weeks. I did check the UPS website and they said that some of the gifts may not make it by Christmas. This delay has a lot to do with the number of gifts that are being shipped this year as well as the different storms that states are dealing with across the country. So their advice... the sooner the better.
