He's hosted the Emmy Awards, he's a regular on Saturday Night Live and now he's coming here to Minnesota this summer!

I'm talking, of course, about Colin Jost, who's set to bring his stand-up act here to the Land of 10,000 Lakes on June 22nd in the Mystic Showroom at Mystic Lake Casino. And, tickets are already on-sale-- and they'll only run you $29 too.

That's a pretty decent price to see one of today's hottest names in comedy. I might have to check it out! Here's more information about Colin-- who, in addition to appearing on Saturday Night Live, is also one of the show's head writers.

According to a release from Mystic Lake, Jost is most known for his six seasons as co-anchor of Saturday Night Live’s popular “Weekend Update” segment alongside co-anchor and fellow head writer Michael Che.

He has been a writer for “Saturday Night Live” since 2005, winning four Writers Guild Awards and a Peabody Award for his work on the show. As a stand-up comedian, Jost has appeared on numerous television shows and specials, and he hosted the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2018.

Jost wrote and starred in the film “Staten Island Summer,” based on his experience as a lifeguard growing up in New York. He is a native of Staten Island, New York, and a Harvard University graduate.
