Southeast Minnesota Could Get A Lot of Snow Thursday and Saturday
While the National Weather Service La Crosse office has issued a Winter Weather Advisory starting at 3 Thursday through 6 a.m. Friday, there looks to be an even bigger snowstorm set to hit southeast Minnesota Saturday into Sunday.
The NWS Winter Weather Advisory set to start Thursday afternoon could make things tricky across our neck of the woods, with some mixed precipitation tossed in the forecast as well.
"Snow mixing with freezing drizzle expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a glaze are expected, resulting in possibly difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Friday," the advisory notes.
But wait, there's more! When checking out the extended forecast for Saturday, it looks like there could be a bigger storm heading our way that could drop way more snow on us.
