They were once used as grain bins but they've been turned into a rental resort in Minnesota-- and they're going viral online.

There's nothing like getting in some quality time up north in the Land of 10,000 Lakes during the fall, and now you can do just that in this rental, complete with its own private lake near Alexandria, all while staying in... grain bins?

That's right, we're talking grain bins-- those round, corrugated metal containers that farmers and co-ops use to store grain and other crops-- that have been repurposed and are available to rent right now, courtesy of Hosted by Anne on Airbnb. They're part of an 8-building resort you can rent, starting at $125 a night (Which doesn't seem all THAT expensive, if you ask me, though the Luxury Grain Bin is renting for $185 a night.) According to Google Maps, they're about 3 hours and 24 minutes northwest of Rochester.

Although, you'd better make your reservation soon because times are filling up. October is mainly all booked, though it looks like there are a few dates open in November. And, according to the reviews posted on Airbnb so far, the grain bin resort has a rating of 4.88 out of 5. Here's how the property is described on Airbnb:

This is an awesome location between the Carlos Creek Winery and Arrowwood Lodge. We are a wedding venue with 11 acres of property situated in a very private environmental lake. Our open dates allow for a very peaceful , relaxed and social distances stay. We do have a dock on the lake and at your own risk, it is available for enjoyment or fishing.

The grain bins have been a hit online, too. SamSellsHouses is the TikTok name of a realtor based in northern Minnesota. He posted a video of the grain bins-turned-rentals on TikTok earlier this week, and it's now gone viral-- having been viewed over 500,000 times!

Would YOU stay in a resort made from grain bins? It looks pretty cool-- check out the video below to see for yourself. And, while you're at it, if you don't want to spend the money on this grain bin Airbnb, keep scrolling to see what Minnesota's LEAST expensive house looks like...
