St Charles Couple Survives Stockton Hill Wreck

Winona, MN (KROC AM News) - It was a close call Tuesday for a St. Charles couple when the pickup truck they were in crashed down an embankment in Winona County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened around 10:00 AM on Highway 14 in the area known as Stockton Hill.

The report says the truck began to hydroplane as it rounded a curve and then launched over a guardrail and rolled down the embankment.

The occupants - 73-year-old Leslie Rasmussen and 69-year-old Janet Rasmussen - were taken to Winona Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
