St. Patty’s Day Irish Proverbs

Seeing as the St. John family has some distinct Irish heritage, on St. Patrick's Day, I always enjoy perusing various Irish Proverbs. Here are a few of my favorites:

"You'll never plough a field by turning it over in your mind..."

"May you have warm words on a cold evening,
A full moon on a dark night,
And the road downhill all the way to your door."

A roof for the rain,
And drinks beside the fire --
Laughter to cheer you
