After winning the American Association championship later season the St. Paul Saints are still going to be holding a banner-raising celebration, only digitally. The Saints are welcoming fans to participate in their Nopening Day Celebration May 19th.

According to a press release from the baseball club:

"The Saints will combine the nostalgia of their first game at CHS Field in 2015 with virtual “stay at home” promotions, capped off by a live Xcel Energy fireworks display from CHS Field all while watching from the comfort of your home."

The evening kicks off for fans at 5:30 as the club will be handing out 'nopening day' t-shirts for fans, (two per car) for an hour. After the giveaway fans can expect "virtual game day festivities" including a special message from Saints Owner and President, Mike Veeck. Following Veeck's message, there will be a replay of pre-game celebrations from May 21, 2015, the first game in CHS Field history.

The Saints will also virtually raise their 2019 American Association Championship banner. After the 'game' fans watching online will be treated to a 5 minute live fireworks show from CHS Field.

Hopefully, soon enough we will be able to watch live baseball, and maybe even from the stands.
