Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested Monday after he caused a traffic wreck while apparently under the influence of alcohol.

And the police report indicated he was “very intoxicated.”

Arrested was 24-year-old Gregorio Cruz.

Police say his vehicle collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Memorial Parkway and 12th St SW at the main entrance into Apache Mall around 11:30 PM. Cruz fled on foot when officers arrived but was caught.

The other driver complained of rib injuries but did not seek medical attention.
