Fall in Minnesota

Minnesota is known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but maybe it should be the Land of 10,000 Sunny Days instead.

One of the best parts about fall in Minnesota is the show that Mother Nature's vibrant fall foliage puts on. But are those gorgeous fall colors late this year?

The calendar may say it's mid-September but according to Minnesota's weather, it's still the middle of summer-- a trend that has been happening for awhile.

Parts of Minnesota could see their first frost of the season in the coming days, but when does the Bold North usually see the first frost each fall?

The truly frustrating part about these beetles, to me, is that they feed on aphids that can damage our crops, so it's nice to have them around, but this is the time of year when they are trying to come inside our homes, uninvited.
