The more than 1700 union workers voted last month to overwhelmingly reject the company's "final offer."

The company and the union have agreed to extend the current contract into early October.

Minnesota's own Hormel Foods is helping out the recovery efforts in Hawaii with a massive donation worth over one million dollars.

This adds to an already impressive benefits plan for team members.

It's understandable why Hormel doesn't like the unwanted emails in everyone's inbox a reference to the product they are trying to sell.
