The Minnesota Vikings are going to be honoring a former coach during the entire upcoming NFL season. Bud Grant, the coach that brought the Vikings to 4 Super Bowls, passed away in March.

Often times with rookies in the NFL, the less you hear about them the better. For the Minnesota Vikings, they heard quite a bit about the recent off the field activity of their first round pick, wide receiver Jordan Addison.

This morning the Minnesota Historical Society tweeted out a Minnesota Vikings 'Big Game' button from the 1970s, and in the process threw some salt in the Super Bowl wound of Vikings fans everywhere.

The Vikings' season ended Sunday with a 31-24 loss at home to the New York Giants in the wildcard round of the playoffs. The Giants moved the ball at will against the Minnesota defense but that isn't unusual because the Vikings have the 31st ranked defense out of 32 teams in the NFL.
