An outpouring of community support is growing for the family of a Wabasha County man who tragically lost his life in a tire explosion.

The victim's father was also injured in the incident.

He was arrested Wednesday night following a standoff east of Rochester.

Wabasha County deputies responded to the report of a woman injured and in need of medical attention around 4:45 Wednesday afternoon.

Two people were riding in the UTV and the driver was the sole occupant of the pick-up.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash.

He lost control of the motorcycle he was driving then hit the guardrail.

The collision was reported shortly after 10:30 Tuesday morning.

Law enforcement has obtained a description of the suspect and the vehicle.
