Ladies, I fully understand why some of you do this - even if it looks weird.

Growing up, it wasn't uncommon for my Mom to use a set of band-aids as a buffer between her new heels, loafers, etc and her actual heel while she "broke them in" for the first few instances of wear.

I learned (the hard way) why she, and numerous fashionistas around the world, have used this trick.

Yep! Blister City, Batman. Gross, right!?

You see, yesterday I was so excited to sport my new black loafers from Journee Collection. They totally completed my outfit! In fact, I think they made my outfit a little more sophisticated - but you be the judge.

Anyway, I WISHED I used the band-aid trick yesterday because I'm paying for it (physically) today.

Anyone else go through this too? Do you have any other tips that you use to avoid these annoying blisters?
