The Rochester International Airport (RST) won a $750,000 grant to recruit new non-stop service to a western hub from RST. (See full story here)  And that could include flights to Denver, Colorado.

The grant doesn't guarantee we'll have a new non-stop flight out of RST, it just boosts the money available to attract that flight. Which western hub has Rochester been hoping to pull in? One that was specifically mentioned in the grant request was Denver.

Would love a direct flight to and from Denver, CO. Of course it's up to the airlines to make the decision, but back in 2012, a similar grant was able to bring in two flights a day to Delta's hub in Atlanta. So let's keep our fingers crossed.
