Three Fatal Wrecks; Close Call for Rochester Motorcyclist
Undated (KROC AM News) - At least three people have been killed in separate traffic wrecks in Minnesota since Thursday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Twin Cities teenager was killed around 8 p.m. Thursday after crashing a car on Highway 55 in the Inver Grove Heights area. The victim was 19-year-old Carter Weber of Eagan.
A crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck in Murray County around 6 a.m. Friday killed one person. The 42-year-old male victim was from Fulda. He was a passenger in the pickup that was driven by a 39-year-old man, also from Fulda. An 18-year-old male passenger survived. The semi-truck was driven by a 29-year-old St. Paul man.
A man was killed around 4:30 Friday morning after crashing a motorcycle in I-35 in Forest Lake.
No names have been released yet.
A Rochester motorcyclist was hurt Thursday near the Country Club Manor neighborhood.
Police say the driver of a vehicle pulled in front of the motorcycle on West Circle Drive near the Kwik Trip store around 4:45 p.m. The motorcycle was driven by 34-year-old Sean Groves, who apparently suffered a concussion.
