Lucky Woman Hits Treasure Island’s Biggest Jackpot of 2026

Imagine you're sitting at a blackjack table, playing your hand, sipping a cold drink, and a normal day at the casino suddenly gets A LOT more interesting.

Winning a little extra cash is always cool, but how would you react if you found out you just won life-changing money? The kind of money that makes you forget your own name for a second?

That's exactly what happened to one insanely lucky woman at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in September. In fact, she landed a jackpot so massive it officially became the casino's biggest payout of the year.

She walked away with $272,782.

Yep, that's NOT a typo. Over a quarter of a million dollars... from one hand of blackjack. I’m pretty sure I would have passed out right there at the table!

According to Treasure Island, she hit the Blackjack Match progressive jackpot on September 8th after matching an ace-king of diamonds with the dealer. It's a specific combination, but when it hits, the payoff obviously can be quite HUGE.

And here's the wild part: this wasn't even the first time someone won more than $250,000 playing Blackjack Match at Treasure Island this year. Back in April, another player won $259,644.10 playing the same game.

So, two massive jackpots, both topping a quarter of a million dollars, from the same game at the same casino in a single year. I'm clearly not playing the right games at the casino!

Meanwhile, I'm over here wondering what I'd do with that kind of money. Pay off the house? Say goodbye to debt? Book a ridiculously nice vacation? Finally buy the 60 things in my Amazon save for later section? Ahh, what a dream.

What’s the very first thing you’d buy if you hit a $270k jackpot?
