For the second consecutive year, U.S. Bank Stadium is up for the Sports Business Award of "Sports Facility of the Year"! It makes sense, the stadium is still pretty new (it's only been open since 2016 if you can believe that!), the architecture of the building is awesome, and we did just host the Big Game, meaning U.S. Bank Stadium is the arena that is top of mind right now.

This will be the 11th annual Sports Business Awards and the awards gala is set to take place May 23rd in New York.

U.S. Bank Stadium isn't the only Minnesota arena up for the "Sports Facility of the Year" either! Target Center made it on the nominees list because it has recently been renovated. According to the Minnesota Vikings, the other sports arenas that join the two Minnesota locations include Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, Notre Dame Stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana, SunTrust Park/The Battery Atlanta in Atlanta Georgia, and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
