Val And Her Husband Did A Fall Drive To Duluth And This Is What Happened [PHOTOS]

Our anniversary is coming up tomorrow. We've been married for two years now, and together for ten! When my husband and I were talking about what we'd like to do for our anniversary, we decided to see some awesome fall colors.

The only place to do that, in our mind, was head north to Duluth!

Most of you know that we're brand new to Minnesota, so we didn't know what to expect! I was expecting Duluth to include a giant lake, with some friendly folk walking about a quiet town. We got that - and more!

Not only did we indeed find a giant lake (which I simply had to put my hand in!), I saw my first lighthouse! We also ended up scoring some tasty burgers at Grandma's Saloon in Canal Park. Oh, and it wouldn't be a trip to somewhere in Minnesota without a flight of beer - which we enjoyed!
