At first, I thought it was a rumor, but it turns out - last night's presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was the most watched presidential debate EVER.

According to CNN Money, more people watched the Hillary and Donald debate in the past sixty years, than they've ever watched a presidential debate before! 80.9 million people tuned in, to be exact, and that's just counting those at home who watched it on one of the twelve channels that carried it.

It's estimated that even more folks watched the debate exclusively online. When Regan and Carter debated in 1980, they scored the same amount of people watching their debate - but this one was impressive by modern standards!

People have a lot of choices when it comes to what they watch on TV, throw XBox or Play Station into the mix, and you've got even more competition. So, that's a record for a number of reasons.

If you're curious, the last debate, Obama and Romney, pulled in 67 millions viewers.
