These Minnesota Street Names Are Almost Too Ridiculous To Be Real
You know when you're driving around Minnesota and suddenly a street sign makes you slam on the brakes a little? Not because of traffic, but because you just passed something called Doodoo Avenue and your brain needs a second to process what you just saw.
Turns out, we are far from alone in the weird street name department.
Reader’s Digest recently shared the weirdest street names in every state, and honestly, some of them feel like inside jokes that somehow became official.
Like in Alabama, there is an actual road called "Booger Hollow Road."
Delaware somehow approved "Slaughter Neck Road." Yikes... Won't be taking that one alone at night.

Alaska went with "Yellowsnow Road," which is hilarious. How do we not have a yellowsnow road in Minnesota?
And then there’s Arkansas with "Farfrompoopen Road," which sounds fake, but apparently is very, very real. Must be pretty far from a potty zone, am I right?
Naturally, this sent me down a rabbit hole wondering what Minnesota has hiding on its maps. Spoiler alert: a lot. Like… way more than I expected.
Some are hilarious. Some are oddly specific. Some sound like they were named during a very long Friday afternoon city council meeting where everyone just gave up and said, “Sure, why not?” And honestly, I kind of love that for us.
