What Minnesota Moms Now Really Want for Mother’s Day
With Mother's Day coming up soon, a new survey has determined what Minnesota moms want most this year.
Showing our appreciation for our mom is often a lot easier said than done. While chocolate or flowers are a great gift (my mom LOVED flowers) and often a sign of love, is that what moms really want on their special day?
That's the question this new survey from Casinos.us set out to answer. They surveyed 2,000 moms across the country and here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes to compile the list of what moms would really like this Mother's Day.

And the answer is simpler than I was thinking: the thing most Minnesota moms want most for Mother's Day this year is getting the family together for an outing. According to the Casinos.us survey, 35 percent of moms said that was what would make their Mother's Day the best:
Whether it’s a picnic in the park, a day at the beach, or a fun-filled adventure at a local attraction, or just heading out to a restaurant together, the majority of moms don’t care what they’re doing – as long as they’re doing it with family.
Outside of getting the family together for an outing, the other top things moms across the North Star State would like this Mother's Day have a similar theme, and they aren't really things at all.
They are to have a day (or several) that makes them feel valued and respected for all they do for us, with a focus more on experiences instead of items purchased online or at a store, Casinos.us noted. Check out the full Casinos.us list:
