This is pretty cool. It was 50 years ago this Sunday that those four lads from Liverpool made their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show on CBS. So, CBS is marking the occasion with a special on Sunday, filmed on location at The Ed Sullivan Theatre (now the venue where David Letterman tapes his nightly late night show) on the same stage the Beatles first appeared back in 1964.

And who's representing Country music? Well, none other than Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, in two separate performances

Keith will be performing “Don’t Let Me Down” with John Mayer, and it won’t be the first time those two have done that song.

“I had seen them do ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ at the Eric Clapton Crossroads show last fall at the Garden in New York,” TV show producer Ken Ehrlich tells ABC News Radio, “and it was really amazing, with some blazing guitar solos. So I thought that would be great.”

Meanwhile, Brad and Pharrell Williams will team up to sing “Here Comes the Sun.”
