Favorite Things to Do in Wisconsin

Whenever I'm in Wisconsin, which is a lot during the summer, one of my favorite things to do is grab some drinks and food at a local dive bar.

Some people might think of a "dive bar" as a rundown shack with bras and money on the ceiling that only serves cheap beer out of cans in the middle of the woods, but that's not always the case!

The reason I love dive bars so much is because of the no-frills, laid back vibe of these places. Sure, they might not be the fanciest bars on the block, but they tend to be a lot more fun and filled with interesting people from all walks of life.

Each dive bar seems to have their own unique claim to fame too, and this one in Hayward, Wisconsin is one I will have to check out some Friday this summer.

'Fireball Fridays' in Wisconsin

My family is heading up to Wisconsin soon, and I wanted to find some new places to check out while we're up there. We aren't heading as far north as Hayward, but after seeing this video, I think it might be worth driving the extra miles:

I'm not going to lie, when I looked up Twin Lakes Tap on Facebook I immediately knew this was a place I needed to visit ASAP. Just look at how charming this place is:

If serving up shots of Fireball on Fridays every time 'Fireball' by Pitbull plays on the jukebox isn't reason enough to go, maybe having a bait shop attached to it will be.

If fishing and beer is what you live for on a nice day, Bobber Down Bait & Tackle located right next door to Twin Lakes Tap, is ready to deliver.
