1 in 5 Minnesotans Would Rather Not Vacation if Bars Are Closed
Fun fact, 1 in 3 people drink alcohol within the first hour of their vacation. It's 5'oclock somewhere, right? And now, more than ever, we can all use that bit of stress relief. But, serious question, if bars were closed in the destination of your summer vacay, would you cancel it?
That's a yes from me. It's one of my favorite things to do on vacation - check out the local hangouts, and I'm talking both bars and restaurants. Does that make me sound like I have a problem? Maybe, but I'm definitely not alone.
Nearly half of Americans say that alcohol is an important part of a vacation. And, 1 in 5 Minnesotans agrees that they would rather stay home if bars are closed, according to a new survey.
So, what about our border friends? Bars being closed would keep 27% of Wisconsinites and 18% of Iowans from going on vacation.
