12 Year Old Wins Stinky Sneakers Contest

The 39th edition of the Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest was won by a 12-year-old girl from New Mexico.

Jordan Armstrong won $2,500 after winning the contest at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not in New York's Times Square.

Armstrong was one of the “stinky seven,” but her sneakers were the smelliest.

Contestants were judged on how bad their shoes smelled and what their footwear looked like. Competitors also had to give a “verbal account” of why and how his/her sneakers were the stinkiest.

The Champion confessed that her sneakers got dirty and smelly because she never takes them off. She's worn them for the past two years to school, to the park, playing sports and even to bed!
