Another long-time business in Downtown Rochester is closing their doors. Not right away, and no hard date's been set, but by spring Artistic Framers will be gone from Historic Third Avenue.

The owner, Sue Schreiber, opened 32 years ago in the 3rd Avenue SW location. They do custom framing, obviously. But they also have a great selection of home decor items and zn art gallery you have to see.

According to Jeff Kiger of the PB, one of the reasons she's closing is parking hassles...

"This has always been a wonderful street, so I will really miss it," Schreiber said. "But if you are a bar, they will walk forever to get to you. If you are a business like this and they're bringing art work in or purchasing art work, they don't want to have to park three blocks away."

No word on what'll take AF's place, but I'm hoping its a unique and interesting shop.
