Man’s Body Found on Railroad Tracks Near Downtown Rochester

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered near downtown Rochester.

Very little information has been released, but a brief statement from the police department indicates officers were sent to investigate after a 911 caller reported finding the body shortly after 6:30 PM Saturday evening. The statement says the deceased man was located on the railroad tracks east of Civic Center Drive and West Silver Lake Drive.

The man's name has not been released and the statement did not provide any information concerning the cause of death.
