Four siblings, all incredibly talented basketball players, all went to the same college, and the last one is about to graduate, leaving quite the mark on one Twin Cities university.

If you're from southern Minnesota, I'd find it hard to believe if you HADN'T heard the Olstad name. Clark Olstad was the Elgin Millville girl's basketball coach for several years, leading them to many state appearances (five in a row, with one state title). He started as the boy's coach in 1990, and was there for 8 years before coaching the girls for 8 years, and also serving as principal in the small school district. All four of his kids were absolute athletic studs, ESPECIALLY shining on the basketball court. They're now getting some love from Concordia University, up in St. Paul, as the youngest sibling is about to graduate, leaving a remarkable scoring record of nearly 4,000 points among the four of them! Check out this AWESOME tribute to them!

Fun fact: I played with both Candace AND Kali! They are two of the greatest athletes I've ever had the honor of playing with. Not only that, Mr. O was my coach, and one of the most memorable coaches I've ever had. He was like the coach on 'Miracle' when it came to running halls, "again!"...

I always loved playing basketball and wasn't horrible, but standing at 5'9", I didn't see much of a future in it, even though I was asked by a couple of schools. Not to mention, I remember a celebration we had after one season, and Mr O said, "Samm, you had a great year, but you need some improvement on the free throw line!" I asked him how bad. He said, "54%" ... My response, "Well, it's better than Shaq!" (Did I age myself with that comment?)
