5 Rochester Restaurants That Closed in 2017
It's never fun to see restaurants close, especially those family-owned "been in Rochester forever" restaurants. Sadly, we had a few of those this year. Here are the 5 restaurants that closed up shop in 2017.
- 1
Mac's Cafe
A staple in downtown Rochester for more than 60 years! The crew called it quits in early December.
- 2
Roscoe's
Another incredible restaurant that had a nearly 40 year run wrapped up it's final season this fall.
- 3
China Star
The downtown China Star was transformed into a new restaurant this summer. It's now a middle Eastern restaurant that people rave about.
- 4
Zzest
Fortunately the family behind Zzest has decided to pursue a new restaurant in the Zzest location. They are currently hiring at the Hot Chip Burger joint before they open.
- 5
Dickey's BBQ
After a short 2 year stint in the TJ Maxx Plaza, Dickey's was the second BBQ place in town to close up shop.
