5 Things You Learn When You’re Part Of A Minnesota ‘Blonde-tourage’
I wasn't always a pretty blonde, but now that I (partially) am, I'm soaking it up!
You might remember that I, Val, was pretty well known for my long dark hair. Before cutting and coloring it in May, I was proud of it - but I knew I wanted a change. I went with a blonde bayalage look.
I felt like I was the only dark-haired person in Minnesota! lol
While it was a shock to change my hair at first, I've seriously grown to love it!
Recently, something happened that fulfilled my every 2000's movie dream. I realized that I could finally say that I was part of a "blonde-tourage" - you know, an entourage of blondes that hangs out together constantly. They were always the cool girls in those movies.
I didn't plan on this happening, but I realized I matched some other awesome blonde Minnesotans while I enjoyed a night out over the weekend. I found my "blonde-tourage"! So, since I'm in one, I think I can finally talk about what being part of one is like.
Here are five things I learned that happen when you're part of a "blonde-tourage".
- All of the Iliza Shlesinger and Chris D'Elia jokes come to life: Those dolphin sounds we make while searching for each other in a parking lot - they happened. So did things that "DON'T EVEN MATTER".
- Having more fun: Okay, maybe this is a stretch - as a blonde, I did have fun that night. More fun than as a brunette? Eh, debatable.
- Wine drinking: Yep.
- You stick together: We didn't leave each other's side the whole night! I got a little lost leaving the venue, but that's because my phone died.
- Cute outfits: ...because, duh.
Are you part of a "blonde-tourage" too?
