Another Coronavirus-Related Death in Olmsted County
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The death of an Olmsted County resident in their late 90s was among the 19 coronavirus related deaths reported today by the Minnesota Department of Health.
1058 new COVID-19 cases were reported statewide today, including 11 new infections in Olmsted County. The daily testing total in Minnesota was close to 39,000 and the daily testing positivity rate was about 2.7 percent.
The most recent vaccination statistics for Minnesota show almost 618,000 state residents have now received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and nearly 190,000 have had both doses. In Olmsted County, the overall count is almost 36,000 with nearly 19,000 people fully vaccinated. The percentage of Olmsted County residents who have had at least one dose is now over 23 percent.
