That old adage about the only constant in life being change hit home in Rochester recently, with the restaurant scene here in Rochester changing again-- and another restaurant closing its doors.

Yes, the Mexican restaurant, El Loro, located on Fourth Street in southeast Rochester, has apparently served its last burrito and bowl of guacamole. The restaurant announced its closing on its Facebook page recently.

According to the Med City Beat, "The restaurant opened in 2012 inside the former Chicago Great Western Railroad Company Depot. The 115-year-old building has been home to multiple other Mexican restaurants since the start of the millennium."

But, if you were hoping there might be another restaurant in that location soon, you might not be disappointed. The article went on to say that the Post-Bulletin reported earlier this month the building was sold in November to a group of investors using the name The Med City Restaurant Group, so one would think a new eatery might be slated to take El Loro's place in the not-too-distant future.
