Ariat Just Opened Its Largest-Ever Store in Minnesota

We heard earlier this spring that the iconic Western lifestyle brand, Ariat, was venturing into Minnesota for the first time ever this year. Well, Ariat did that and more, as it just opened its largest-ever retail store here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Ariat Opens Its Largest-Ever Store in Minnesota

These days, it's much more common to hear about businesses, restaurants, and stores that are closing their doors instead of opening new locations. That's why it was a breath of fresh air-- the kind you get out West-- when Ariat announced back in May that it was not only setting up shop here in the North Star State, but was getting ready to open its largest-ever retail location. In case you're not familiar, Ariat is a globally recognized 'performance lifestyle brand' that has its roots in boots and all things Western. It's known for its riding and work boots, Western wear, denim, and outdoor apparel.

What Is Ariat? The Western Brand Comes to Minnesota

According to Ariat CEO Beth Cross, the company, which was founded over 30 years ago, takes its name from the legendary racehorse, Secretariat, and was known as 'The New Breed of Boot.'

Ariat was the first to integrate athletic footwear technology into boots for equestrian athletes. Today, our world-class product team builds innovative and award-winning performance products for all types of outdoor and work environments.

Where to Find the New Ariat Store at Mall of America

The location for this new Ariat store, we learned in this release from the Mall of America (MOA), would be Level 1, South. And, according to a post on its Facebook page, the new Ariat store is now officially open for business Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ariat says it's also planning a grand opening event for its new store here in the Bold North:
