The 'King of the Blues', B.B. King is dead. The 89 year old passed away in his sleep in his Las Vegas home. I got a chance to see B.B King last year when he played in Rochester, with Sena Earnhart. I'm glad I did as it was an incredible show. He would play at least 100 shows a year, too.

B.B. King has been playing since the 1940's and his guitar was named 'Lucille'. It's been said that when he traveled, he'd always buy an extra airline seat so Lucille could travel next to him.

Did you know that the 'B.B.' in B.B. King' stood for 'Blues Boy'? Check out this legendary performance of 'The Thrill is Gone', from the BBC. Lots of great facts in the video. RIP B.B. King and thanks for sharing your amazing talent.- Alan
