Thin crust or deep dish. Fold it like a New Yorker or eat it with a fork. Pineapple? That’s a whole different argument.

We may never agree on the best way to eat pizza, but one national outlet just decided which chain does it best. And get this: it has 64 locations right here in Minnesota.

Turns out, our pizza obsession isn’t just a Midwest thing. In fact, Americans eat about 3 billion pizzas a year, which breaks down to roughly 350 slices per person. So yeah, when someone tries to crown the best of the best, people have opinions.

That’s exactly what the team at Eat This, Not That just did. They set out to name the top pizza chain in the country based on social media comments and reviews. And while the winner might not be a total shock, here’s what did stand out: it’s already a regular go-to for countless Minnesotans. You'll find locations all across the state, including nine in Minneapolis, six in St. Paul, and a few sprinkled through places like Rochester, Duluth, and Mankato.

So… which pie came out on top?

It’s Domino’s. Yep, the chain known for late-night orders, never-ending coupons, and those dangerously good lava cakes just took the top spot. And honestly? It checks out.

“Bottom line is I can get dinner for a family of 5 for $20–30,” one fan told Eat This, Not That. “It’s fresh, it’s fast, it’s consistent, it’s tasty. And with the occasional extra deal, points reward, and emergency pizza, the real cost is probably closer to $15–25 per order.”

Whether you’re feeding a family, powering through a chaotic workweek, or just refusing to turn on the oven during another sticky Minnesota summer, Domino’s has earned its spot in kitchens across the state.

Do you agree? Or what's your favorite pizza chain?
