The weather was a little rainy, but things cleared up (or stopped raining, anyway) and allowed Brad Paisley's 'Weekend Warrior' World Tour to stop in Minnesota over the weekend.

The forecast wasn't looking good for Saturday's outdoor show at Treasure Island Casino, but the rain stopped and the show went on as scheduled. And it was a really good show!

Lindsey Ell kicked things off (though we got to our seats after she'd left the stage-- but she sounded pretty good as me made our way through security and grabbed a beer!)

Chase Bryant-- and his hair, which Brad made fun of several times-- also did a great job, playing his hits 'Take It On Back,' and 'Little Bit of You.' He also made a point of wearing genuine Red Wing boots he bought earlier Saturday in downtown Red Wing!

Dustin Lynch-- who we've seen now three times in Minnesota in the past couple of years, when he toured with Luke Bryan at TCF Bank Stadium in 2015 and at US Bank Stadium last year--  did a great job, too, playing all his hits, including his latest single, 'Small Town Boy.'

And, of course, Brad himself was put on his usual incredible performance. He shredded it on guitar, paid tribute to Minnesota's Prince with a version of 'Purple Rain,' had fun with the audience (at one point doing a pretty funny Minnesota accent) and referencing our Norwegian heritage and love of fishing and getting out on the water during our all-too-short Minnesota summers.
