In addition to her day job, Carrie Underwood is also a Nashville Predators superfan (she happens to be married to Mike Fisher, the team's captain). After two days of silence following the Nashville Predators' Stanley Cup loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday (June 11), the singer is finally speaking up.

“Had a lovely night last night celebrating with the players, wives and staff of the @predsnhl … oh, as well as with this hunk!” she posted to Instagram, alongside a photo of her looking happy with Fisher, on Wednesday (June 14).

“We are so thankful for such an incredible season and the amazing group of people we got to spend it with!" she continued. And in case there was any doubt about her feelings, she ended her caption with a classic #blessed.

Fisher also shared his feelings on Instagram: "Thank you preds fans for an unforgettable year!" he wrote, along with a photo of a packed Bridgestone Arena arena. "You brought passion like the NHL has never seen before and made me so proud to wear the jersey!"

Following an incredible regular season, the Predators battled their way to their first Stanley Cup appearance since the team was founded in 1997. They eventually fell to the Penguins, losing the series 4-2, but the playoffs and finals became a who's who of country music, with performances from Underwood, Faith Hill, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Trisha Yearwood, Lady Antebellum and more, and with stars like Thomas Rhett, Brett Eldredge and Kelsea Ballerini showing up to lend their support.
