The National Weather Service is monitoring a line of storms expected to move east across southeast Minnesota and northern Iowa this evening, bringing the potential for severe weather in some areas.
A strong spring storm will sweep across Minnesota Tuesday, bringing several inches of heavy, wet snow to certain areas. The National Weather Service has already issued weather warnings and watches.
Most of Minnesota experienced summer-like weather last Friday with temps reaching the 70s and low 80s but that warmth didn't last long. Temps plummeted on Saturday and rain and snow moved through the state over the weekend.
