Christmas Saved by Thoughtful Wisconsin Tow Truck Driver
Thanks to the kindness of a Wisconsin tow truck driver, many family's Christmases were saved. It was definitely not something expected of this tow truck driver but he did it anyway and all of the people he helped were very thankful.
Dan Theimer is a tow truck driver around the Little Chute, Wisconsin area. A delivery van had gotten into a crash and he was the driver who went out to tow the van. He brought it back to his lot and discovered that there were 40 packages in the back waiting to be delivered to families in the area.
According to WKOW, Dan was told that "'[t]he owners of the van who subcontract for FedEx ... were sending another vehicle to transfer the packages.'" He waited and waited for three days and the other vehicle never showed up to pick up the packages. He also never heard anything from FedEx so he decided to take it upon himself to make sure the packages got to where they needed to be.
Many of those packages were most likely Christmas gifts that families were eagerly waiting for and, as I can imagine, were getting nervous about because they weren't showing up. Thanks to Dan the good samaritan, these families were still able to get their packages that they may not have gotten otherwise.
