I am a huge tattoo lover. I have 9 and REALLY want a sleeve! Although I love them so much, I'm super weirded out by this! They say "this way will change into real connected, skin deep, eternally!"  What do you think?

I received an email last night from a company called SKIN46 with an already patented invention out of Switzerland. In the title bar it read, "tattoos made of human material." My initial reaction was "WTF?" which apparently is exactly what they are going for ("Let's simply say we have the next big WTF!")...

"The invention relates to a method for producing a tattoo ink, a carbon extracted from human material and/or animal material and/or vegetable material being added to a base composition of the tattoo ink."

I'm right there with you shaking my head thinking what in the world is this lady talking about. Read on:

"What does this mean? Tattoo lovers order an SKIN46 ink, made of their child's, bro's, best friend's - whoever they love or honor. To do a tattoo with this ink will have the effect that a real piece of this person is under the skin."

Their goal? To bring connectivity through tattoos. It doesn't seem safe... Would you do it? Is this cool or creepy??

"A Harris poll in 2012 found that 1 out of every 5 adults — 21 percent — has at least one tattoo. An earlier Pew Research Center study found that the number was closer to 40 percent among those ages 18 to 29."
