Cowardly Lion Suit from Wizard of Oz Sells

How ya doin', HOW ya doin'?.....The Cowardly Lion costume worn by Bert Lahr in the movie, “The Wizard Of Oz” sold at an auction yesterday for $3,077,000.

The costume is made of real skin and fur, has a hidden front zipper and attached tail.

The buyer’s identity wasn’t known. The auction included a Dorothy “test” dress that sold for $245,000 and a piano from “Casablanca” for $3.4 million.
