Is it just me, or does time feel like it’s moving way faster lately? The high school football season is wrapping up, winter gear is slowly coming out of the closet, and the mornings have started feeling extra brisk. You can practically smell winter in the air.

And as the days get shorter, that can only mean one thing, it’s almost time to change our clocks. Daylight Saving Time ends soon.

Of course, this whole time change thing always sparks a debate. Some love the early sunsets and slower evenings, while others dread driving home in the dark by 5p.

Minnesota lawmakers have even tossed around the idea of ditching it altogether, joining other states pushing to stay on one consistent schedule. Personally, I’d vote yes - at least in the spring.

Jumping the clocks ahead always kicks my butt, but come fall, that sweet, sweet extra hour of sleep is glorious!  You can finally sip your coffee a little slower, enjoy the quiet morning, or just sneak in a few extra cozy minutes under the covers.

When Do We Change Our Clocks For Daylight Saving Time in Minnesota?

This year, the time change officially hits at 2 am on Sunday, November 2nd when we "fall back" one hour.

It’s all just part of our seasonal rhythm - just like digging out your gloves, warming up the car, and pretending to be okay with seeing your breath in the morning again. Here we go!

So enjoy that bonus hour, Minnesota. You’ve earned it.
