Detour in Effect on Highway 14 East of Rochester

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reminding motorists of a significant detour that took effect today.
Traffic is being directed off Highway 14 just east of Rochester for a culvert replacement project. Crews are installing two new culverts beneath the roadway at Chester, which is resulted in the closing of the highway from Olmsted County Road 11 east two Eyota.
The detour uses County Road 11, Olmsted County Road 9, and Highway 42. It is expected to remain in effect until the project is completed in early October.
