Every year, Mother Nature likes to tease us with warm, spring-like weather and then dump some more snow on us. It will be nice with above-average temps this weekend. Friday's high will be around 46, on Saturday we'll get up into the mid-50s, and Sunday the high will be back in the mid-40s.

Things could get sloppy on Sunday night as snow showers are expected across the area. The Weather Channel says "the snow will continue through Monday morning and transition to snow showers during the afternoon. Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches."

You should prepare for difficult travel conditions Sunday night and Monday. It doesn't take much to make the roads slick so plan accordingly by allowing yourself extra time to reach your destination safely. You can get real-time road conditions on our app.

Don't worry, it doesn't matter if we get 1 or 3 inches, it won't last long because temps will rebound into the 40s by Tuesday, mid-40s by Wednesday, and 50s by the following weekend. Hopefully, this will be the last of the white stuff until next winter.
