Driving Conditions Worsening Across Southeast Minnesota

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Driving conditions continue to deteriorate across southeast Minnesota as a winter storm slowly moves across the region.
The Minnesota Dept. of Transportation is reporting most major highways in the region were partially or completely covered by snow as of 7:30 AM and conditions will worsen when strong winds develop.
Snow totals are expected to be in the 3 - 5 inch range.
The sudden change in weather led numerous schools to change their schedules.
The snow is expected to diminish by late afternoon or early evening and then the coldest air of the season will settle in for several days.
